The AWG's 18th Annual Wine and Spirits Auction is Saturday, March 15,2008. It is our biggest fundraising event of the year and promises to be a continuation of the great tradition of generous support from many chateaux, hotels. restaurants, boutiques, artists and more.

The Wine and Spirits auction will kick off with the silent auction during the first portion of the evening. Browse the tables for the many wonderful items up for bid while enjoying sumptuous appetizers and cocktails. Bidding is fast and furious! At the same time we will begin the drawing for the Tombola prizes (this continues throughout the evening).

The wine, champagne and spirits are auctioned off during the live auction. Our auctioneer for the evening is the wonderful Pierre Mothes from the world famous auction hours, Christie's. Pay attention for the "bonus" lots where the winning bid also includes a special surprise!

Again this year, we will have the Super Tombola. This is a drawing for a very special prize. (See details below). Tickets will be limited in number, improving the chances of the ticket holders to win.

We count on the auction proceeds to fund our AWG programs as well as our primary philanthropic effort, L'Envol. L'Envol is a summer camp that welcomes critically-ill children for stays of 10 to 12 days. AWG is committed to supporting L'Envol and demonstrates that commitment through the donation of its year end proceeds to fund camper scholarships.

The Sponsors Program

This program is designed for those who wish to support the event, but are unable to attend.

100€ per couple. It includes:

4 regular Tombola tickets
Couples name listed as Sponsor in the Auction Catalog and in the May Bulletin
Invitation to an AWG year-end event

55€ per person. It includes:

2 regular Tombola tickets
Individual's name listed as a Sponsor in the Auction Catalog and in the May Bulletin
